APPM is a Recipient of the Women and Development Program of CPU
In 2015, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), specifically the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), and Central Philippine University organized the beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), also known as Pantawid Pamilya. One of the government’s poverty reduction-related programs provides conditional cash transfers to poor households to foster their health, nutrition, and education.

Selected Members of the APPM are Recipients of Alternative Livelihood Training
Last March 15, 2025, selected women members of the Asosasyon ng Pantawid Pamilyang Mananahi (APPM) received alternative livelihood training from Dr. Myrna T. Luceño, a faculty member and outreach coordinator of the College of Hospitality Management. They were taught how to prepare and make nutritious vegetable dishes, puto cheese, and chili sauce.
