In a recent collaboration, the CPU College of Arts and Sciences- Social Work Department met with the Community Engagement Service Learning Center (CESL) to outline and address the content and requirements for upcoming outreach initiatives. CAS Conducts Women and Development Program in Ati Community
The Indigenous Peoples experience various societal issues, such as destitution, discrimination, illiteracy, and exploitation among others, especially in women. Majority has no access to various economic opportunities; their meager income cannot sustain their everyday expenses, which lead them to indulge in mendicancy, vagrancy and even human trafficking.

SNAP-CPU in Partnership with CASPC Conducts "PAM-AMLIG SA AETAS"
The College of Arts and Sciences Provincial Council together with the Student Nurses Association of the Philippines CPU Chapter and other organizations conducted “Pam-Amlig sa Aetas: A SNAP_CPU Community Outreach Program For Indigenous People of Visayas” on February 11, 2023 at Brgy. CPU CAS holds Gift-Giving Activity in Ati Community
The College of Arts and Sciences conducted a gift giving activity in the indigenous peoples (IP) community at Brgy. Taminla, Dueñas, Iloilo, on Saturday December 10, 2022. The activity was based on the data of poor households from the Department of Social Welfare and Development-National Household-Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (DSWD-NHTS-PR) Region VI and National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Region VI.
