Mechanical Engineering Department Donates Corn Sheller to Farming Community
On June 23, 2025, selected faculty members from the College of Engineering donated a corn sheller machine to selected corn farmers in Brgy. Badiangan, Ajuy. Iloilo. This machine is a thesis output by students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering from previous years. It is intended to separate the corn kernels from the cob.

CPU Custodian Donates Tables and Cabinets to Adopted Public Schools
Last December 19, 2024 (Thursday), the Alberto Sorongon Memorial National High School and Iwa-Macatol Elementary School received table, cabinet, and cubicle donations from the University. The same activity happened this year to the public schools of Dingle, namely Nazuni Elementary School and Nazuni Summit National High School, where they also received school furniture.

CPU Celebrates University Outreach Week 2024
The year 2024 officially launched the University’s first outreach week, where various activities were conducted from December 2 to 6 by different units, colleges, and organizations, with most recipients coming from the adopted communities of CPU. Last September 16, 2024, Central Philippine University College of Medical Laboratory Science (CPU – CMLS) launched MedTech Week with a meaningful initiative: a Mobile Blood Donation Drive in partnership with the WVRBC and PRC Iloilo Chapter. Book Donation Activity: Mini-Aklatan Para sa Magandang Kinabukasan Program at Iwa-Macatol Elementary School
Last December 6, 2023 the College of Arts and Sciences of Central Philippine University established a mini-library in Iwa-Macatol Elementary School, located in Brgy. Macatol, Pototan, Iloilo. The activity was in response to the letter of School Principal Ms. Sheree B. Biarneza. According to her, the school has a poor academic performance, some students are non-readers due to lack of instructional materials.
